This is a program covering many topics essential for a true appreciation of the breadth, scope and full potential of energetic healing. Although much of this information is based on 'new' science and breakthroughs in research, we are really rediscovering what many of the ancient and venerable healing systems of the past already knew...that 'everything is made of the same thing' and that energy can be shifted to help bring even the physical body into greater alignment and balance. Special focus will be placed on the interconnection between bio-energetics and biochemistry, the influence of thoughts and emotions on your physical health and how to enhance your well being with Light Therapy. We will explore bringing balance to neurotransmitters and hormones that are involved in our natural functions of sleep, cognition, mood balance and reproductive functions, to name a few. Light Therapy has been found to optimize the production and function of neurotransmitters and hormones. The neurologic system sets the pace for harmonizing all aspects of a person's health.

Author and certified sound coach instructor Lana J. Ford offers a focus on the Sacred Solfeggio Frequencies and the physics of Sound. Biography of the Speakers:

David Cowan:

I started my sojourn on the planet growing up in a cozy family environment which encouraged love, laughter and learning. I chose to follow my 'muse' early in life by becoming a professional rock musician, which enabled me to thrive enough to support a family early on. I returned to schooling at age 40, and settled into the helping professions as a counselor for children, families and the unemployed. My interests led me to become trained and certified in Nutrition.

I eventually embraced Quantum Biofeedback, an advanced computerized healing system, as both a practitioner and eventually international trainer and educator. My interests have expanded further to embrace the Spiritual aspects of healing, and now, with my wife Erina, teach and train others to become Licensed Spiritual Healers. My own inner work has evolved into an optimistic world view and desire to share this with others through writing, teaching and music.

Erina Carey Cowan:

My formative years were spent in northern New Jersey with a loving family who knew how to create adventure out of the mundane and how to love through all experiences. There was born in me an insatiable desire to know both love and adventure. After many years of seeking fulfillment in the 'external' world I embarked on the greatest of adventures, the journey within. Philosophical studies, meditation and raising a family served me well in this endeavor. My interests led me toward the healing arts and I attained a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus in Medicine. My career path led me through years practicing as a P.A. in Functional Medicine to working in Energy Medicine and Quantum Biofeedback.

Eventually I became an international trainer and educator in this area. I have come to realize that all healing occurs at the level of Mind and that we are all free to choose how we wish to experience our lives. I have authored a book 'Advanced Spiritual Dowsing' which serves as a guide to accessing the unconscious mind for the purpose of releasing beliefs that hold us limited.

I teach courses with my husband David that are designed to empower, enliven and enrich lives. Our teachings are founded on the non-dualistic principles presented in 'A Course in Miracles'. I find fulfillment in sharing my insights, joy and passions through writing, teaching and a growing love of musical expression. I am grateful for our children and grandchildren who continue to provide me with my greatest teachings and to reaffirm what I know to be true; that relationships as keys to awakening…lead us Home.

Lana J. Ford:

I grew up on the plains of Nebraska with the expansiveness of the prairie imprinted on my psyche. Hungry to fill that space with knowledge I became an occupational therapist working with "handicapped" children. That in turn led to a Masters Degree in Education concurrent with beginning an academic teaching career in Occupational Therapy.

From those early beginnings I sensed "love" was the greatest teacher yet that focus was not primary in designing educational programs either for those who experienced differences or for the health care provider. This was reinforced through a series of life changing events including a terminal diagnosis and the experience of blindness that was so profound it changed how I viewed my place in the universe.

Yearning to unravel those voices of wisdom I felt I needed to validate my experience with completion of a Ph.D. in Neurocognitive Behavior with post doctoral studies Quantum Physics. In 1998 I left the world of academia and pathology to enter the private arena of alternative health with a focus on how the body re-establishes health. I discovered that sound was a matrix around which the universe was created and that it serves as an energetic matrix for uniting mind, body and spirit. I have since devoted all my activities to using light and sound for restoring infinite body balance. It is with pleasure I serve to assist others with unique gifts be become certified coaches in the alternative modality of their choice and become Licensed Spiritual Healers.
